March is here!
We would be happy to have more snow, but are really enjoying these warm sunny days. With the warm weather comes the mud, so please take your child’s snow pants, gloves, etc. home for a wash and dry. Also, please make sure your child has 2 or 3 sets of extra clothes and an extra pair of mittens or gloves, if your child is in After Care.
We will be learning about Australia and Space this month. If you have anything you’d like to contribute, please let us know. We love parent guests!
THANK YOU to those of you who have volunteered your time to come help with skating and have donated items for the classroom. We could not do all we do without YOU! Please check the “Sunshine Supplies Needed” list on the parent communication board, if you would like to donate.
The skating rink is now closed for the season! Please take skates and helmets home. Thank you to Mr. Matt for all your efforts to create and maintain the rink. Our friends loved the experience of learning to skate.
Spring break begins March 16th and the school will be closed for that week. We hope everyone stays healthy and rested!
We are trying something new! Please encourage your child to go straight to washing hands when dropped off in the morning! We would love to slow the germ sharing. This is a ritual that Sweet Pea classroom has that we are implementing throughout the school.
Please take your child’s winter gear and water bottle home for a wash every Friday. We appreciate it!
Save the date of April 9th and 10th for Spring Conferences. This is a great time to touch base about your child and the progress they have made this year and set end of the year goals.
