2020 is going to be great; just pray for snow….
You may have heard about a few new additions to the classroom. Such as a new BIG TREE, “Banana Cutting”, “Tea Setting”, “Penny Polishing”, “Counting with Golden Coins” (a Chinese New Year lesson), and “Color Mixing”.
We are learning about weather and Asia this month. Ask your child about water as a solid, liquid, or gas. Also, ask your child to help you sing this song…

If you have any interest in sharing something about Asia or weather, please let us know. We are hoping to cook or make traditional food or drink, learn about animals that live in Asia, and learn about the clothing people wear in Asia.
We hope to start ice skating next week, weather permitting. To participate, children must be four years old or older and should bring their own helmet and ice skates, which can be left at school. Please note, we only have a few sets to borrow. Sunshine’s day to skate will be on Thursdays and we need lots of volunteers. We skate from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm.
Volunteers help children to put on skates and take them off! They also help supervise the rink. Please be on the lookout for a sign-up sheet by the sign-in on the counter or send us a message on Bloomz, if you can help. Volunteers need to be able to skate. Thanks so much and feel free to come skate on the weekends with your families.
Friendly Reminders: Please wrap hot lunch warm-ups in foil with child’s name on it or put food for warm ups in an oven safe container.
Mom’s Night is coming up and you do not want to miss this. It is so magical when your child can show you their lessons; they are so excited and proud. Add January 28th, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, to your calendar.
