Now that we are ending the school year and entering in to our last month, we are benefiting from all the fruits of our labor.
Everyday we are very impressed with what the children are able to accomplish during their work periods. They are able to perform lessons of complex math or language. They are excited to challenge themselves with new lessons. We have noticed that one of the strongest improvements that we have seen is the ability for the children to work together as a team to accomplish whatever task they want to do. We are very happy to see a certain level of maturity in the children that allows the children to work together as a peaceful community in the classroom.

Spring is here! And with Spring comes a lot of new energy. We are looking forward to having more outdoor activities that will certainly polish the work that we have been doing in the classroom. During this last month we have been talking about Easter, ways of transportation (an airplane, a jet, rockets etc), Spring, bugs, and more grace and courtesy lessons that will help children channel their energy.
The Spanish program is going very well in our classroom. We are noticing that children are integrating Spanish into their daily lives.
