Hello Sweet Pea Families! Here we are in the middle of Spring and we are still experiencing Mr. Snowman.
We are looking forward to the time when he decides to take his long winter nap! We would like to remind you to continue to bring clothing that is suitable for both the cold and the warm weather. All this to say, we can’t wait for the planting season to begin! We have fun plans for our vegetable garden once we have the chance to weed and prepare the soil. Our variety this year will be carrots, kale, snow peas, green beans and strawberries.

Spring Fling is around the corner May 18!!! We will be celebrating our school community with an outside musical performance, lots of games, crafts and something new this year we will have food trucks for the families to enjoy. Please note that Sweet Pea children do not gather in the classroom prior to the performance, rather, we will be available near the stage to support any children who would like to participate in the performance. We understand that sitting in front of a large audience can be scary so it is up to the children whether they want to participate or sit with their parents. We have been spending a small portion of circle time each day practicing a few songs for the event which you may have heard at home. We ask that after the performance you take your child and enjoy the rest of the day with all its activities.
Sweet Pea will have 3 different auction items on display.
The children are fast at work creating masterpieces to be auctioned. Thank you to those parents who have already donated their time and money towards making this an extra special event. We so appreciate all you do!
We really have had a wonderful year in Sweet Pea! We have seen such growth in the children and look forward to spending the last few weeks together. Thank you for placing your trust in us to do the very best we can to help your child mature and be prepared for the next school year!
