Lacey Buczala
HEAD TEACHER SWEET PEA​

Lacey Buczala grew up in Great Falls, Montana, surrounded by her large extended family. Family dinners were always a lot of fun!  As one of the older cousins, she organized many of the activities for the energetic kids' table. Playing school was always the crowd's favorite, and she dreamed of becoming a teacher.

 

Lacey moved to Bozeman to attend MSU. Like many in Bozeman, Lacey was drawn to the area by its beauty and recreational opportunities. After spending 20 years in the ski industry coaching and managing ski schools, Lacey has come full circle back to her love of teaching in the classroom. She has formed a deep connection with the Montessori methodology and enjoys sharing her passion for discovery with her young students as they discover subjects they are passionate about as well.

 

When Lacey is not teaching young people, she spends time with her husband, son, dog, goats, and many chickens at her home. Lacey loves the outdoors, camping, and skiing. On rare quiet evenings, she can be found creating art, scrapbooking, and sewing in her studio.
