Kristen Fletcher
HEAD TEACHER ASPEN​

Kristen was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina where she attended the College of Charleston, receiving a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education. After having her son, Camp, in 2016 and placing him in a Montessori school at five months old, she fell in love with the Montessori method. Realizing that she wanted to teach within that community as well, she made the switch from the traditional classroom setting in 2019. 

 

Kristen worked for six years at Murray Lasaine Montessori, a public Montessori School in Charleston, South Carolina. She earned her Elementary I and II (ages 6-12 years) Credential through Gulf Coast Montessori, an American Montessori Society (AMS) affiliated program and went on to be named Murray Lasaine Montessori’s Teacher of the Year in 2023.

 

She and her family enjoy hiking, anything in or around the water, and fly fishing. These loves and interests led to a decision to trade the lowcountry life for a new life in the mountains. She is looking forward to the many adventures that await in the Bozeman area, as well as getting to know her new Montessori family.
