Rachel Brown
VICE PRESIDENT & SECRETARY

Rachel Brown joined the Middle Creek Montessori board in 2020. The Brown/Lanwermeyer family moved to Bozeman from Alaska in the summer of 2019 to be closer to family and everything the lower 48 has to offer. Their children attended a Montessori school in Juneau. Today, Bowman is in the Lower Elementary classroom and Waylon is in Mi Casita.  

 

During the summer of 2019, Rachel was on staff as a summer camp employee and fell in love with the staff, outside environment, and community at Middle Creek Montessori.  

 

Rachel's background is based in relationships, communication, and the outdoors through time spent as a wilderness guide, outdoor educator, and trained social worker.  Currently, she works for Thrive as a Thrive Liaison at Emily Dickinson Elementary School.  Rachel has many years of experience as a board member for various non-profits and is looking forward to working hard to make Middle Creek the best school it can be.
