MELLE

Melle originally grew up in the Netherlands before moving to Washington at the age of nine. After graduating from a Dutch Saturday school there she volunteered/worked as an assistant in the 3-4 year old classroom for 8 years before teaching it herself for an additional four years. She went to college for an Earth science, elementary education degree which she finished in 2024 before moving to Bozeman! Additionally she worked for four years in childcare, nannied for various families and taught a first grade classroom in Blaine, Washington. 

In her free time Melle loves to travel and spend time outdoors, whether that be hiking, camping, or finding a good dark sky spot for astrophotography. She is excited to work with the students at Middle Creek and make it a fantastic year!
