Eileen Francis
PRIMARY SUPPORT

EILEEN

Eileen was born in New Jersey and graduated with a B.S. in Nursing from Villanova University and a B.A. in Philosophy from Montana State University. Her experience with children includes working as a pediatric nurse; teaching cooking and health classes; tutoring math and reading; conducting outdoor summer program/wilderness treks for Junior High students; serving as a Cub Scout leader for five years; being a nanny for many years; and raising her own son. Her son attended three years at another Montessori school and two years at Middle Creek.


Eileen has worked at Middle Creek for the past seven years as an After School teacher and playground supervisor; substitute Teacher Aide during the school year and summer programs; working one-on-one with children in Language Arts; reading in the three Primary classes and one year with first graders in the Lower Elementary class; working on the Middle Creek Emergency Planning Committee for two years; and assisting with organizing and teaching emergency training for the faculty. She also serves as support staff for the faculty in whatever capacity she is needed.

 

In her free time, she enjoys camping; hiking; and boating with her husband, son, and Cocker Spaniel.
