Sylvia Shelton
ASSISTANT TEACHER - RAINBOW​

Sylvia grew up in Seattle, Washington and then moved to Maine to study Environmental Science, Public Health, Food Systems, and French at Colby College. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in May, Sylvia moved to Bozeman and began working at Middle Creek Montessori summer 2023. In the past, Sylvia worked on an educational farm with children, and spent a summer sea kayak guiding youth. Sylvia is the eldest sibling and therefore (inherently) started babysitting at a young age. While not at school, Sylvia loves adventuring with friends, skiing, reading, listening to podcasts, and making good food. Dutch American, Sylvia grew up speaking English and Dutch, and loves to travel.
