Adria Pope

Adria joins Middle Creek Montessori with a background in art and Montessori. She has a B.F.A. from the Rhode Island School of Design and is a practicing artist.

She has taught art in her own private program as well as in several schools, including being a long-time Artist-in-Residence at Longfellow Elementary. She also taught with Fine Arts for Children and Teens in Santa Fe, New Mexico, a non-profit that brings fine arts education into public schools.

Adria studied with the Caspari Montessori Institute and worked at the Learning Circle School in the Primary classroom. She came to visit MCM and fell in love with the school, the kids, and the amazing faculty.  She is passionate about Montessori philosophy and is always learning how to be present with children.

She is the Enrollment Coordinator and is available for questions regarding the admissions process. Adria is also the Art Coordinator and designs, plans, and teaches art for the Lower and Upper Elementary and occasionally for Primary classes.
In her spare time, she loves to paint, hike, do yoga, and spend time with her two teenagers!
